- Schedule your free Mass Save home energy assessment
- Get quotes from Mass Save-participating contractors in Boston
- Work is installed
- Contractor or you file the rebate paperwork with Mass Save
- Rebate is applied at point of sale or reimbursed within weeks
Boston-specific programs
Boston runs its own Solar Loan Pilot Program — a 0% interest, forgivable loan of up to $25,000 specifically for solar installations, stacking on top of Mass Save and SMART 3.0. Boston also runs Solarize Eastie, a targeted program with GreenRoots for low-income, immigrant, and renter households in East Boston.
