Live Google Business Profile with a 4+ star rating and at least 10 reviews from verified customers.
Filtered to actual heat pump, HVAC, or solar businesses — adjacent trades (duct cleaning, general handyman, supply-only) are excluded by name and category.
Assigned to the city in their actual business address, not just wherever they showed up in a search.
In BC specifically, HPCN (Home Performance Contractor Network) membership is what CleanBC actually requires for the rebate to apply — confirm it directly with the installer, we don't verify it automatically. Ontario's HRSP program has no equivalent membership requirement.
