Heat pumps up to $10,000

Atlantic City Electric Rebates for Homeowners

Atlantic City Electric serves about 547,000 customers across eight counties in southern New Jersey. It splits its home rebates into two tracks: a heating and cooling program for equipment upgrades, and an electrification program for homes leaving gas, oil or propane. Appliances have their own store. These are the 2026 figures from the company's pages, read in a browser on October 6, 2026.

Who Atlantic City Electric serves

The company serves about 547,000 customers in eight counties of southern New Jersey, according to the state's Rate Counsel office. Atlantic City is in that region, but we found no official page that names the city, so confirm the name on your electric bill. Part of Ocean County is also in its territory. If your bill says PSE&G or JCP&L, use the PSE&G page or the JCP&L page.

Two tracks, one contractor

HVAC equipment and electrical panels go through a licensed contractor who submits online within 90 days of purchase. Indoor appliances and lawn equipment you can submit yourself, also within 90 days, and the company mails a check within 45 days. The company has joint forms for customers who also buy gas rebates from South Jersey Gas, New Jersey Natural Gas or PSE&G gas, so ask the contractor which form to use.

The headline numbers

The rebates page says "up to $1,300" for the standard HVAC program, and the appliance page says "up to $750." Neither is the full story. The heat pump line alone reaches $2,000, and the electrification program reaches $10,000. When you compare quotes, add the rows yourself from the tables in the cards above.

What Atlantic City Electric does not pay

We found no home battery rebate or rooftop solar rebate on the pages we read. State solar credits and net metering still apply to solar owners. We also found no weatherization rebate; Comfort Partners covers lower incomes at no cost. The federal credits ended after 2025.

How to claim an Atlantic City Electric rebate

  1. Confirm your electric bill says Atlantic City Electric.
  2. For heating, choose a licensed contractor and ask for both the standard and switching rebates on the quote.
  3. For appliances, buy an ENERGY STAR model and submit the receipt online within 90 days.
  4. Call 1-866-353-0007 or email [email protected] for help.
  5. Keep invoices, model numbers and photos.
