Chula Vista is in SDG&E's service area (San Diego Gas and Electric).
Short answer: Chula Vista is in SDG&E's service area (San Diego Gas and Electric). We could not verify an open home rebate from SDG&E for Chula Vista, so we show no utility amount. Statewide heat pump help (TECH Clean California and the federal HEEHRA program) is fully reserved and takes new requests on hold only.
SDG&E's rebates page lists retail coupons: $75 for an ENERGY STAR smart thermostat, $40 for an Amazon smart thermostat, $500 for a heat pump water heater that replaces an electric water heater, and $15 for a room air conditioner. The same page says the program's retail rebate offerings have ended, and it does not honour rebates after purchase, so we do not count these as open. Source (read 2026-10-01)
