Peak Saver is a BC Hydro winter program (November to March). You let BC Hydro adjust enrolled smart devices during short peak events of up to four hours. You earn bill credits: for a home battery, up to $500 when you enroll and $250 per winter; thermostats, EV chargers and water heaters earn less. Enrolling a battery within 14 days of interconnection approval also raises your battery rebate cap from $1,500 to $5,000.
