Short answer: New York's heat pump rebate is NYS Clean Heat, paid through your electric utility: about $5,000 to $7,000 for a full system (more in a disadvantaged community, and up to $10,000 or more with the old system removed). Long Island is separate, through PSEG Long Island. Clean Heat and your utility's rebate are the same money, so they do not stack.
