How we work it out

  • Every amount comes from the program's own page, linked on each result.
  • We count only programs that are open today. Programs that start later or have a waitlist are listed but not added.
  • Your answers stay in your browser. We only get your email if you ask us to notify you.
  • Nobody pays to be included, and installers cannot change what you see.

Common questions

Is there a statewide heat pump rebate in Illinois?

Not yet. The state's HOMES and HEAR rebates have not launched. Your electric utility is the main source: ComEd pays up to $900 to $2,000 and Naperville Electric pays $900 to $1,800.

Why does the calculator ask for my gas company?

Gas companies pay rebates for furnaces, boilers, water heaters, thermostats and insulation that the electric company does not.

Why does Ameren Illinois show no amount?

We could not read Ameren Illinois's rebate page, so we show no amount rather than guess.

Is the federal tax credit still available?

No. The 25C and 25D credits ended after December 31, 2025.

Can I add all the rebates together?

The total adds programs that pay for different upgrades. Check each program's rules, since a few cannot be combined.
