California Rebate Calculator 2026: What Your Utility Pays

California's rebates depend on your electric utility. Pick yours and see what is open, what is on a waitlist and what has ended.

Short answer: California's statewide heat pump programs (TECH Clean California and the federal HEEHRA) are fully reserved and on waitlists. What still pays is local: SMUD pays up to $3,000 for a heat pump and up to $4,000 for a heat pump water heater, LADWP pays up to $2,500 per ton, Glendale pays $1,000 per ton (up to $5,000) when you replace a gas furnace, and Burbank and Pasadena have their own rebates.
