What Central Hudson actually offers

Central Hudson runs the statewide NYS Clean Heat program. Its manual notes that a heat pump plus envelope upgrade project can also receive an incentive for an eligible ERV or HRV bundled into the same job — but that runs through the Custom Track, priced project by project with a participating contractor. There's no fixed residential HRV rebate you can look up on a chart.

Custom Track only

NYS Clean Heat Custom Track (bundled only)

No fixed dollar figure

Beacon's housing stock is a mix of early-1900s worker cottages near the Hudson and newer infill built during the city's arts-driven revival, so airtightness varies block to block.

We checked Central Hudson's published residential rebate materials directly rather than assume ventilation coverage would match the heat pump rebate — it doesn't, and we'd rather say that plainly than list a number that isn't real.

Stacking it with other programs

Central Hudson's Custom Track is the one path where an ERV or HRV can get an incentive here, and it only opens up when it's bundled with an eligible heat pump and envelope upgrade — not as a standalone purchase. Ask a NYS Clean Heat participating contractor to price the ventilation piece into your project quote before assuming it's covered.

Common questions

Is there an HRV or ERV rebate in Beacon?

Central Hudson doesn't publish a standalone HRV or ERV rebate for Beacon homeowners. The only path to an incentive is the statewide NYS Clean Heat Custom Track, and only when the ventilation system is bundled into an eligible heat pump and envelope upgrade project — priced by a participating contractor, not a fixed number.
