No cash rebate exists for window replacement in Alberta in 2026 — not from the province, and not from ATCO, ENMAX, or EPCOR.
What's actually available is CEIP financing: Edmonton participates in Alberta's Clean Energy Improvement Program, which covers ENERGY STAR-certified window replacement and air sealing as part of an eligible efficiency package, financed for up to $50,000 and repaid through your property tax bill over up to 20 years. CMHC's separate rebate for energy-efficient mortgage refinancing may also apply if windows are part of a larger retrofit package that improves your home's EnerGuide rating — check current CMHC eligibility before counting on it.
