How much you get
There's no flat dollar rebate for a heat recovery ventilator (HRV) or energy recovery ventilator (ERV) from PG&E in Fresno the way there is for a heat pump or water heater. Ventilation equipment simply isn't a category PG&E funds in its residential rebate catalog right now.
Fresno regularly posts some of the worst particulate air quality readings in the country during summer wildfire season, so a mechanical ventilation system that filters incoming air is a genuinely practical upgrade here, rebate or not.

So for now, an HRV or ERV in Fresno is an out-of-pocket upgrade.
