Peak Saver is a demand-response program where you allow BC Hydro to draw a small amount of power from your home battery (if enrolled) during winter peak hours (4–9 PM). You get $100 at sign-up and $50 per winter season. It's optional and you can override any event with zero penalty. Most importantly, enrolling in Peak Saver unlocks the full $5,000 battery rebate.
